PASTVA – Dawn E. (nee: Schuman)

April 15, 1955 – February 29, 2024

Of Kenmore, New York

Beloved wife of 50 years to Robert M. Pastva; Dear mother of Stephanie (Scott) Millsap, Robin Ortiz and Christina (fiancé Jason) Pastva; Loving grandmother of Aaron, Katie, Kimberly, Brianna, Rafael, Selena, Leo and Noah; Sister of Dennis (Noy) Schuman and Dwayne Schuman; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Dawn dedicated 13 years of her life to serving as a QuitLine coach for NYS, assisting numerous individuals in their journey to quit smoking. A true artist at heart, she found multiple ways to express herself.  Dawn was an excellent and creative cook. Her passion for creating handcrafted jewelry led her to win esteemed awards in Western New York. She took pleasure in crafting hand-knit items for friends and family.  She loved to travel the world and would combine travel with volunteer work overseas.  She was always a daring free-spirit.  Dawn's creativity, kindness, and dedication to helping others will always be remembered by those whose lives she touched.
